Our Students Say it Best

“I received lots of ATTI mode practice which gave me confidence to fly without GPS. I also learned to use Sport Mode to fly with high winds at aloft. Great exercises! Most importantly, emergency drills learned in a controlled environment with a very experienced pilot!”

Tulinda Larsen, Owner & CEO/Skylark Drone Research/Annapolis

Why Consortiq?

Our Qualifications and Awards

  • AUVSI XCellence Award #1 in Training and Education
  • 40+ years of flying,
  • 20,000+ commercial hours,
  • 8 years in the civilian drone industry and hundreds of sUAV drone missions
  • Consortiq adopts the best practices from the more heavily-regulated UK and incorporates that level of diligence to our USA training, far exceeding the FAA Part 107 requirements.
  • Best cloud services provider at the UK Digital Experience Awards for its drone operations management software, CQNet.

Better quality instruction material

Our instruction manuals – Both the structure and content of our training are practical and easily customized to numerous environments. Our drone training courses offer detailed flight planning and risk mitigation training, and advanced teachings on professional airmanship. For example, as part of the UAQ, pilots are required to record and log details of operations, pilot currency and aircraft maintenance, rather than merely making a simple assessment about the operational environment and factors of immediate and obvious relevance; this is accomplished by using CQNet

The Only Program that provides CQNet

CQNet (our unique proprietary fleet management and risk mitigation software) demonstrates building a fleet management system that provides an audit trail. It covers assets (UAS/batteries/payloads) and pilots for each and every flight operation, from preflight planning to onsite assessments, with reporting to demonstrate risk management, moving on to the checklists and incident logging, finally providing flight analysis from the UAS flight log. Students learn to use CQNet and receive a “Freemium” account.

Drone Training that aligns with TOP

Professional drone operators will soon be held to a universal set of standards; the AUVSI Trusted Operator Program (TOP). Trust is a key component when a business hires a drone pilot. Consortiq’s VP, Bryan McKernan, serves on the steering committee to determine how TOP will be implemented to increase safety and determine future FAA regulations on drone missions. Our courses have integrated the TOP qualifications of RELIABILITY, SAFETY, PROFESSIONALISM and TRUST. This means our course content and training practices will be the most current available.
